Looking Forward to a New Year of Creative Adventures

Wow!  Is it 2014 already?  I have to say that last year seemed to just fly by.  Of course I was busy with the usual stuff – teaching, gardening, plus getting my kid off to college. Then there was all of the wonderful creative stuff – Attending the Spellbound Art Retreat, working as a Design Team Member for A Gilded Life, and getting the exciting news that some of my work will be published in an upcoming issue of Jewelry Affaire.

I can also share now that as part of the Design Team for A Gilded Life, I had the amazing opportunity to work on samples and projects using their new bezels, dies and texture plates – a collaboration with Spellbinders that is being unveiled as we speak at the CHA Mega-trade show in California.  Trust me when I say that these pieces are an absolute blast to work and have such unlimited possibilities for all kinds of projects. These materials will be available at JoAnnes and Michaels very soon!  Here is a quick peek at some of the projects I created for A Gilded Life to share at the trade show.CHA purse watermark

I guess Debbie and Shea from A Gilded Life like my work, because they have asked me to continue on as a Design Team member, which means I will continue to receive wonderful materials from them to play and create with.  Developing tutorials for them has been an enriching and challenging experience, and I am grateful and excited to be able to work on more of them this year.

2013 was a most wonderful year, and I am really looking forward to what 2014 will bring my way.

Happy New Year everyone!

  • These are stunning! Congratulations on continuing as a Design/Dream Team Member and they are so fortunate to have you with them. I appreciate your sharing the photos so that I’ll be looking out for them at our one and only Michaels.
