Snow Queen

antique doll & books 012 crop

It’s a cold an blustery day here.  My cozy house is singing from the wind (some sort of interesting effect to the placement of the house, the siding or something – reminds me of whale song!)  The snow queen and I are snug in the sitting room finishing up some final projects before returning to the real world after an unexpectedly extended winter break.

antique doll & books 011 crop We wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year, and tell you about this incredible giveaway that Karoline is doing over on her blog Cherished Vintage.  The scarf is yummy and oh, so perfect for a day like today.  Be sure to hop over and check it out!

Stay Warm my cherished friends!

  • Thank you, Sue, for visiting my blog and leaving such a kind comment. I truly appreciate your taking the time to do so. What a lovely home you have and I love your snow queen. Hoping the holidays were good for you and your loved ones.

I think Snow Queen has taken residence in Minnesota. I am holing up in my house and just listening to those “whale sounds”…no way am I going out there.

I love all the wood in your house. I am a serious “bare wood” person. At one time it was because of poorly-trained dogs but now that I am older (and a little more responsible) I love the effect. Very New England.

I see you are in Healther’s Swap, too. Fun, huh? Brings me round again to Silver Bella!

  • I love the sound of a singing winter wind. The snow queen is good company!

  • As much as I love your snow queen – can we rename her something like summer & sunshine toots?! LOL
    I’ve had enough snow already.
